Why am i getting charged a non-resident fee?  I live in pendleton.

The Pendleton Recreation Association (PRA) is financially supported by the Town of Pendleton. Because of this, residents who live within the official town limits receive a discounted registration rate. Please note: Having a Pendleton mailing address does not necessarily mean you live within the town limits. Residents outside the official boundaries are assessed a $25 non-resident fee per registration. To verify whether your address qualifies as in-town, use our boundary lookup tool here: Boundary Check

Do you offer financial aid?

We do!  We use the following chart to determine eligibility.  You will need to provide the last two paystubs for every adult living in the household.  Upon approval, we will issue you a coupon code that you can use at checkout that will discount the registration.

A coupon code is needed for each registration, so if you're registering more than one child, please let us know.

I'm interesting in coaching, how do i apply?

Thank you!  We couldn't do what we do without you!  Each program under our registration tab has a volunteer tab beside enroll.  That is where you can register yourself for consideration.  There are assistant coach and head coach roles, and potentially more depending on the sport.

Please understand that signing up does not guarantee selecting, and that each coach must pass a background check.  That check is done through a third party and filled out through teamsideline.  We only get a copy of the final report, not your personal information.  The cost of that background check is covered by the PRA at no cost to you.

why does it require a credit card to register?

We are a volunteer ran organization, and truthfully we don't have the staff to chase down every registration to ensure it has been paid.  That's why a credit card is required at checkout before your child is officially registered.

If you have difficulties or for some reason cannot use a credit card, please send an email to registration@pendletonrecreation.org explaining the issue.  We can register for you on a case-by-case basis if it's deemed necessary.
