SOCCER

Pendleton Rec Soccer is focused on footwork, teamwork, and having fun while learning the game. Our goal is to create a positive environment where players build endurance, develop ball control, and grow as teammates.

PRA Soccer offers age-appropriate instruction and game play for 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions. Whether your child is picking up a ball for the first time or returning to the pitch, our program is designed to help them thrive.

We emphasize sportsmanship, conditioning, and effort — and we want every player to leave the season with better skills and a deeper love for the sport.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will registration open?
Soccer registration is typically expected to open in the third week of April. Please check the Current Programs page for the most up-to-date status.
Will there be separate girls and boys teams?
We plan to offer separate girls and boys divisions. This is dependent on having enough registrants to form viable teams in each category. If interest is lower in specific age groups, divisions may be run as co-ed to ensure all players can participate.
When do practices start?
Practices generally begin around the third week of July. Exact team schedules will be shared after registration closes and teams are formed.
When do games begin?
Games are expected to begin the first week of September and run through the second week of October.
What does PRA provide?
PRA provides each player with a jersey and shorts. The registration fee is $50.
What do parents need to provide?
Families should provide shin guards and soccer cleats. Shin guards are required for all practices and games for player safety.
When are practices?
Practices can be scheduled on any day of the week. Once teams are selected, your team’s coach will choose practice times. Generally, teams practice about twice per week. We understand younger players have earlier bedtimes, so we try to place younger age groups in earlier practice slots when possible.
